The museum was nice, but if you want to see any cheese production this is NOT the place. I might give 4 stars, but the lady from the store was hardly cordial, on the verge of rude. The store had a limited offering of cheeses. Emmentaller Schaukaserei had a much better selection, and the people were very friendly too. I must say, however, the prices were better at Emmi-Kaltbach. And EK had a good selection of cheeses and other things.

Nice place, you can buy the famous Tête de Moine cheese and see a small museum illustrating its history.

This should be an open place and free of charge.

There is a great museum to tour. The cheese making tour only held on certain days is exceptional. The cheesemaker is one of those rare people in life with passion and the ability to convey the deeper aspects of their craft with the raw love of cheese. I absolutely loved this tour. The store on site sells the cheese whole or in fondue ready packages. They are the most helpful and respectful staff I have met. A total home run for a tour.

Nice location although pricing of the deli is pretty high. Museum, even though very informative, should be free of charge and financially maintained by the factory itself. This will attract more crowd and may be more potential buyers of the cheese at the deli and the supermarket :). We were the only visitors of the museum in that hour.
