AVOID THIS SCHOOL. On Feb 2019 I asked a trainer the cost for 3 hours of giant slalom training for my 11 years son. He told me Chf 213 Chf 100 to privately rent the slope. It was expensive but decided to go for it so I went to the Swiss School La Tzoumaz where he was working to pay. I booked a session from 9am to 12 am but when on site at 9am no giant slalom course was set while other ski schools were using the slope. The trainer was quite disappointed and had to set the gs course himself taking about 1 hour and 10 minutes for that. The training started at 10.10am with the inspection and ended at 12am, my son did a total of 10 runs. While I was very happy with the trainer Mario, very qualified, I was not at all with the school organization so at the end of the day I went back to the Swiss School La Tzoumaz to ask for a refund. When there although I had paid for 3 hours of training while I only got 110 minutes I had been dismissed with a few words and without any refund. The I contacted the main Swiss School organization to complain as La Tzoumaz Ski School is associated to them but they concluded they could do northing for my refund. In the all of Europe the average cost for training in a giant slalom course ranges from 60 to 70 euros per hour, at this school I paid 149 euros per hour. That is what Chf 313 returns for 110 minutes of training. Be advised of how La Tzoumaz Ski School conduct business, in Switzerland there are many super ski schools with well qualified trainers but this specific La Tzoumaz Ski School should be just avoided.
