Wonderful place with lake views of all important Swiss lakes at the same time :-) Highly recommended! A few more restaurants or cafes would be nice.

Breathtaking!
We visited the Mythenregion for a day-trip of skiing and snowboarding. The area has beautiful panoramic views and lovely huts. It is a lovely area for hiking and snow-hiking. However for skiing it was very disappointing: The lifts are not nicely connected and when driving from mountain to mountain, there is a lot of walking and dragging involved. It is simply not a comfortable experience. If you are looking for a small region to go skiing with your kids or like it slow and relaxed in general - fine. But if you enjoy fast-paced skiing on broad and long slopes - better avoid Mythen-Region.
