Lovely and quiet. More extensive than I imagined looking at the other photos. Parking available at the bottom of the hill.

Quite large ruined castle in two sections. All of the ruins are accessible with hand rails and proper steps in place for the higher sections. Litter bins and picnic area available, so perfect to bring children. Very nice area for starting a hike.

Interesting history and great spot for an open fire BBQ with the family. Be careful when climbing the walls, though.
