Marylin is exceptional in every way! She was recommended to us by our elopement photographers, David & Kathrin, and we are so thrilled that they connected us. She is warm, kind, thoughtful, and just an all around joy to work with. She listened intently to my husband and I's wishes for our small and intimate ceremony, and told our love story with such beautiful words. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day, or a greater officiant!

Working with Marilyn was amazing and we couldn't have been happier with our symbolic ceremony. During the 9 months leading up to the wedding, we talked 3-4 times over Skype for at least an hour or two and also completed several questionnaires about ourselves, our partner, and us as a couple. Marilyn was very patient with us and gave us the necessary guidance to express our feelings. Marilyn also has an extraordinary capacity to put emotions and values into words in a way that creates a beautiful \bubble\ on the wedding day, for both the bride and the groom as well as the guests. Our wedding felt like a fairly tale. We would highly recommend anyone to work with Marilyn to create a symbolic ceremony.
This year I worked the first time together with Marilyn. I am specialized in weddings and I often also work during the ceremonies. The first thing what made her different was, that she was the first person with her own equipment to the ceremony (One of the best Wireless Microphones you can buy on the market). The work with her before the day X was easy for me because she was very good organized. She came in time that we could make easy the sound check and could handle all the important words and signs with no stress when I have to start playing the songs. Now to the cermony: It was very emotional even for me as the DJ and all we talked before about we could 100% match even over a distance from at least 30 meters. When you are looking for a professional and a emotional wedding, she is the right person for you. And when you even have international guests, she can manage everything in different languages. She is definitely one of my favorites ceremony speakers in Europe!
What Marylin does, nobody does ! Take a moment to have a chat with her and understand the extent of her job when it comes to create your ceremony. I've worked with her many times and she is by far the only one putting this much effort, passion and work into making your ceremony 100% YOURS ! As a bonus she is the kindest sweetheart and working with her is so easy and smooth. Keep on doing what you do, keep on creating magic !
This review is long overdue but well worth the 5 stars! In April 2017, Cory and I travelled from Australia with some of our closest friends to marry at beautiful Blausee in Switzerland. Coordinating such an event was far more complicated than either of us had anticipated however the involvement of Marylin was one part of the process that was delightfully uncomplicated - Marylin was accommodating, kind, thoughtful, did everything we asked of her and gave us ample opportunity to make sure the Ceremony was everything we wanted it to be. Her English was wonderful and we found her accent lovely - it really added something unique to the ceremony. Marylin was patient, asked questions of us and was able to answer all of the questions we had of her, in particular ones pertaining to how the marriage process worked in a different country to our own (as the process was different to what we knew). We did not have the opportunity to meet in person prior to the ceremony, speaking only via Skype call, however this was all Marylin needed and she happily accommodated all of our requests, even some of the quirkier and more unique ones. She was even kind enough to suggest and arrange the materials for a sweet part of the ceremony so we would have a momento to take home with us. :) Marylin was recommended to us by Laura Dova (wedding planner) and we would highly recommend her to other couples, especially those looking to have a ceremony in English - Thank you Marylin for being a part of our big adventure - it was certainly A Lovely Day!!! \u003c3 (Photos by Stefan Hellberg Photography)
Marylin helped create a very special day for us! She was well prepared and despite the long distance between us, she made a beautiful personalized ceremony from our Skype meetings. We would highly recommend her!
My Husband and I knew we wanted to elope! We thought our words would be special enough and didn’t really know how much having a celebrant would make things any more special! So at first we were hesitant to hire one and not just have a friend marry us. But I read all the reviews about Marylin and it showed me how important her job really is! She took the time to get to know us and make it all about us mentioning things we really did want to have mentioned on our big day! She gave me goosebumps with some of her words! Having her made our elopement 10x’s more special than I could have ever imagined! We all talked about how amazing she was the whole train ride down from the Matterhorn! I couldn’t be more thankful to of had her there for us! She will forever be in our hearts having made our big day as special as she did! I loved every moment!!!
La qualité de ton accompagnement était hors paire. Nous avons eu le sentiment de confier la tâche à une amie, tant ton accompagnement était passionné. Néanmoins, tout ce que tu as fait à toujours été d'un grand professionnalisme, sans que tu laisses celui-ci transparaître. Nous avons choisi de nous laisser surprendre par tes mots lors de la cérémonie. La surprise n'en fut que plus belle et nous avons été touchés par la justesse et la beauté de tes mots. Tu as su retranscrire notre relation à la perfection. Une histoire qui peut sembler banale au premier abord a pris vie avec tes mots et s'est vue sublimée sans qu'elle n'en soit dénaturée. Le fait de t'avoir fait confiance pour notre cérémonie et accompagnement est un choix que nous ne regrettons pas du tout. Il s'agit d'une des meilleures décisions que nous avons prise pour notre mariage. C'est les yeux fermés que nous te recommanderions.
