Such a fantastic place to be the atmosphere is so cozy and the food is so fresh and healthy it feels like being in a little bobble of sweetness I can highly recommend this place for family time as well and big parking right next to it

Visiting Lugano, we asked some friends what places were good for a little romantic dinner. La Serra was one of the options. The first night we went, unfortunately they were at capacity (which usually is a good sign), so we came back the following evening, and man am I happy we did. First of all, walking in we felt like some sort of oasis (the instagrammability of the place is obvious). It's got a vibe you can't really translate in pictures, probably because of their music; had to sneak and ask if I could have the playlist, while on my way to the restroom (which by the way looks like straight out of Architectural Digest...!). Roberto was our waiter. He helped us navigate the menu and we set our sights on the cheese platter and a charcuterie board as an appetizer. It was all locally sourced, and especially the meat side was more delicious that we thought Ticino could offer (I guess being that close to Italy has its upsides...). Following that, I had a slow cooked beef dish which was divine (probably the no.1 reason why I would ever leave a review)...I mean tender, juicy, just the perfect amount of umami...! My wife had a Mediterranean falafel plate which was very good (she tries to keep it vegetarian, but after trying the mouth glory that was my beef, her envy was palpable...). We finished off with two chocolate cakes which were really delicious (the presentation was a continuation of the vibe of the whole experience, like an LA higher-end restaurant, but done right, and with zero pretentiousness). Just an awesome experience all around, which in Ticino, especially when it comes to vibe, can often be missing. Glad we followed our instincts from the night before and came back.
Era una volta un bellissimo Ristorante con una buona pizza. Oggi si, non è male come ambiente. La pizza era insipida, il bordo era cotto, quasi bruciato ma non croccante e poi non era calda come deve essere una pizza uscita dal forno. Eravamo in compagnia e invitati, allora non abbiamo reclamato. Risultato, non torneremo più.

Siamo stati a cena presso loro giovedì sera senza prenotazione e ci hanno accolti senza pensarci due volte. Location suggestiva di cui ho scoperto hanno anche un "meeting center" oppure c'è la possibilità di prenotare il Lab per presentazioni, workshop e quant'altro. Il menù è ristretto ma per me è un plus perché significa che la cucina ha tutto il tempo di prendersi cura di ogni piatto come fosse l'unico. Piatto mediterraneo per il mio ragazzo e hamburger per me, dico solo che è il mio hamburger preferito. Ingredienti local per piatti unici. Ho pure organizzato la cena aziendale di natale talmente ne sono rimasta entusiasta!
Nuova gestione e nuovo look dell’ex ristorante la serra fiorita cosa è cambiato? Arredamento più moderno cucina orientata al Bío e alle specialità brasiliane buona la pizza buono anche il servizio ampio parcheggio
Ho festeggiato qui i miei 25 anni il 17 luglio, bellissima esperienza. Cibo buonissimo gentilezza e cortesia dei camerieri, sono tornate varie volte sia per colazione, pranzo e cena e tutto era eccezionale. Grazie ancora a presto. Linda
