I've been going to the NIFFF since its begining and I've seen it grow in both size and popularity. The movie selection is always smart and interesting. We usually go watch a dozen movies in one weekend and we still cant watch everything they schedule! The staff is very passionated about the festival and thus very helpful. There's one BIG negative point is that most cinemas do NOT have air conditionning and that's a very bad thing in summer in an crowded place! Worst point goes to the cinema \the studio\ that has no AC and VELVET chairs!!! Very bad experience if you go watch a movie there. The festival is located in Neuchatel, a very friendly Swiss town. People are very friendly and there are several good place to eat. Overall, an amazing friendly festival with an interesting selection of movies. That being said, ask before hand if the movie you're going to eatch has AC otherwise you're going to have a bad experience...
