I had a terrible experience here with my 14 week old puppy. She was constipated but very lethargic and that’s why we brought her in on a Sunday. But the clinic insisted on keeping the puppy over night even though I didn’t think it was necessary. They told me they would call me in the morning if they wanted to do more tests like a second x-ray or ultrasound. The clinic never called me the next morning. Instead I called them at 9:30am and they told me very rudely that all doctors were busy and that I would have to wait. They couldn’t even tell me if my puppy had eaten breakfast. When I came to pick her up I found out that they had given her a second x-ray and an ultrasound without my permission. In the end all they found was gas in my puppy’s intestines which was the same as they found the night before. I received a bill for almost 1200 CHF. I find this a terrible business where they simply did everything they could to earn as much money as possible and nothing was really wrong with the dog in the first place. They also did things without my permission which should be illegal.

Amazing Facility and Super Friendly Staff!! Took our dog in on a Sunday for an emergency. He received immediate attention and was well looked after. As we are only now just learning German the doctor with us in perfekt English and answered all our question. It’s nice having a place so close we can rely on in emergencies.

We rushed here with an emergency case. They were waiting me downstairs as they knew I’m on my way, which helped enormously in that stressful situation. The care was professional and everyone was kind. It is a great place as they are fully equipped with all the necessary tools and machines. Was impressed by the visitation room, when went to see my dog the other days. Very calm and nice atmosphere which also matters to feel better for the patient and owner. The only thing, I felt it was a bit impersonal as I did not meet the surgeon nor the doctor after that day, but I also see the reason why: it was an emergency after closing so that helped us who had the actual shift that day. (Our personal vet is not from here) I thank for all the staff member for saving my dogs life that day!!! Update: on the control ,weeks later the doctor and the assistant who were there on that day, were really happy to see my dog and the same from my dog who got a lots of cuddles from them️ it felt very-very good they cared and came to us even though they had other things to do( the control was made by an other also very nice doctor)

Ich war mit dem Hund einer Freundin, den ich über das Wochenende gehütet habe im Notfall. Er hat sich beim Spielen, vermutlich an einer Scherbe, eine recht tiefe klaffende Verletzung am Bein zugezogen. Nach einer sehr kurzen Wartezeit wurde die Wunde versorgt und genäht. Ich war sehr zufrieden mit der Behandlung. Die Wunde verheilt gut und ich würde jederzeit wieder in die Klinik gehen.

Unsere Katze erlitt leider kürzlich ein akutes Nierenversagen. Ihr Leben hing an einem seidenen Faden, doch sie kämpfte sich zurück ins Leben und heute geht es ihr nun zum Glück wieder viel besser und sie erholt sich gut! Hätte die Tierklinik Basel nicht so schnell und professionell reagiert und hätte die behandelte Tierärztin nicht (trotz des wirklich miserablen Allgemeinzustands unserer Katze) weiterhin an den Überlebenswille unserer Katze geglaubt, wäre unsere geliebte Luna nun nicht mehr bei uns. Wir sind mehr als zufrieden und extrem dankbar für die liebevolle Betreuung unserer Katze und der sympathischen und freundlichen Betreuung von uns. Ihr seid Spitze! Vielen Dank für alles.
