The train station of Locarno is centrally located and has 3 tracks. Buses stop here and travel in all directions, making this a central point for those arriving or departing with public transportation. The train station is also surrounded by restaurants, bakeries, and many other possibilities for dining. There are also a few hotels in the area. Overall, this is a place to just transit in or out of Locarno, but not to spend a lot of time in.
There is not much to do on the train station itself, but it's in the center of the city, so who cares? The trains, up to now, have been punctual, nothing to complain about. It's also clean and safe
