I was at Movies Restaurant for dinner yesterday with my girlfriend. Upon arrival, without reservation, we immediately got seated. That was a very positive first impression! We quickly were ask for drinks and got served soon after. Food wise we both shared our meals. We went for the Quesadilla Eldorado and the American Dream Burger. The Mexican food was great: a lot of cheese, tasty, juicy, no need for extra seasoning or sauce, the way it was served was perfectly up to expectations. Yet, the burger was another story: the patty was clearly pre-manufactured, not the slightest bit touched by the chef, dry, lacked of taste, was more than medium cooked as we ordered, the bun was super thick and way too much and the lettuce was nothing close to crunchy, however the bacon we ordered as an extra was too much cooked and not enjoyable. The country fries were hard and not soft in the middle. I would not go back for the burger, definitely though for the quesadilla! Enjoy!

It's very nice to sit outside on a sunny day. Apart from that it's an average bar and restaurant.
One of my favorite places in Zurich. They have many different cocktails. It's a great place to relax after work, to just meet friends or to go on weekends.
Very lively and great location. But, I don't recommend the food here. It's an okay place to go for drinks, but mixed drinks range from 11-16 CHF. Beers and wines are reasonably priced too.
Great food and a great place for a dinner with a large group. That's actually surprising because it's so close to the train station. The bar is too loud but there is a drink that makes up for it: the Baltimore zoo. It's a dangerous concoction and comes with a beer chaser.
Busy movie-inspired restaurant with American-style menu. Always noisy and crowded so make sure to reserve a table. The bar next door is good for an afternoon drink or late night summer beer.
