What can you say, gets you across the lake from Meilen to Horgen and vice versa. The service is well run and always on time.

Good possibility to cross the lake. Most of the men very(!) friendly but some seem to have bad days. I know that everything needs to go fast but throwing the hands in the air if you don‘t drive away immediately is a bit harsh I think. But everything else top and like I said, most of them very very friendly.
An efficient ferry service whereby two ferries cross over Lake Zurich mid way. Very busy in summer so you may have to wait 15 mins for the next ferry. Great views across the lake. Typical Swiss efficiency.
The crossing of the lake is quick and fun. Ferries run very frequently so that’s great. However my friend and I had an extremely unpleasant experience with the ticket inspector. My friend paid by cash and I had a Swiss pass. The man asked me in Swiss German if my pass was for all zones. As I don’t speak Swiss German (or German), it took me a few seconds to understand his question. He repeated the same question twice raising his voice and looked very annoyed and openly sighed that I was struggling to understand. When I began to say ‘Sorry I don’t....’ the man interrupted me and literally screamed ‘GERMAN!!’ I eventually said ‘All zones’ and he left making fun of me and making me feel like I was the most stupid person on Earth. His behaviour was completely unprofessional, hurtful and shocking. My friend and I were speechless, revolted and could not believe what had just happened. I will report him to the ferry company and will follow the case up as this was totally unacceptable and should not happen ever again. In the meantime I’m posting his picture below. This incident happened on the Burg Ferry from Meilen to Horgen on 5th June 2019 at 2.53pm.
The fact that you can't pay by card in 2019...
Friendly staff, speeding up the trip to the other coast significantly and usually not too long of a wait (unless you travel at rush hour...).
Great way to come to the other side of the lake. And awesome kid Highlight to visit the farry playground at Horgen.
Very fast service. Worth it.
