Agent initially refused to rent us a car. Stated no rental car without international.drivers license. I have US license and IDL in Not required in Switzerland. Eventually agent gave in but very reluctantly. This is a first in 10 years and at least 50 rentals.

As a first timer car rental, things could not have been more smooth. We got a nice Volvo V40 which was a nice upgrade from the Ford Focus we were expecting to receive. Service was great and friendly. Price was good. Only thing that could have been better was that they did not mention to us that the day on which we would return the car was an holiday and they would not be opened for business in the afternoon. Instructions on the folder were clear enough though.

Car was fine although the oil light came on right away, but they increased the price as soon as i mentioned would not bring it back right at 10am and then charged a late drop fee even though was marginally late, pick up service was great but trying to make up for lost business this way is disappointing

Rented a car last weekend: the price was competitive and the service was seamless even after handover (I forgot sunglasses in the car, that they kept aside for me to pick up later).

We rented a Volvo over Christmas, and couldn't have been happier. The car was an upgrade over the car we expected. We got up and going quickly, with some friendly traffic advice, and drove through 5 countries with no issues at all. The staff was very friendly and professional. We flew into Milan, and people kept saying that renting in Switzerland would be crazy expensive. just the opposite, the car was a better deal than any I found in Italy. We chose Switzerland because it was impossible to get a car with winter tires in Milan. We got our winter tires, we got a good rate. And we didn't get hit with any extra charges. Those were the closest winter tire rentals to Malpensa Airport. A great location right next to the Lugano train station, with express buses that ran us back to Malpensa when we returned the car. All around a perfect experience.
