This is the coolest thing to see in the old town center. It was a city gate when the town wall was still needed. Under the Tower there is a small wooden door. Every day when we walked past I would try the handle and it was always locked. One day I pushed down on the handle and the door swung open! I talked my buddy into going in. We climbed the stairs in this Tower from the Middle Ages! At the top there was a room decked out with Boy Scout stuff. We called out and some one answered. We introduced ourselves and he gave us a tour of the rest of the Tower. So cool! Try the door. Maybe you can see it too.
