Fronting the lake. Good place to walk during the day or maybe at night. Parking is very limited.
Perfect beach just next to it (maybe not for swimming)
This structure, built in about 1825, was the result of a whimsical competition between three notables of the period, one of whom was William Haldimand, then owner of the Denantou estate. The goal of the competition was to build the most beautiful ruined medieval tower. This structure, which then stood almost in the water, won the first prize.
Most beautiful walk along the lake from Ouchy to Pully.
Based on the high rating, I expected something interesting or impressive. The parking spots around the tower do not make the tower any better. I walked quite a bit to get here, not worth the effort. Although the park next to the tower is quite nice.
must see in Lausanne with the \quaies d'Ouchy
The tower is in the park where everybody can walk in to see.
