Switzerland for the Oceans is a young but ambitious non-profit organisation operating out of various locations in Switzerland, dedicated to fundraising for initiatives combating over-extraction and pollution of our oceans and promoting ocean vitality. Our goal is to support organizations and individuals who are making a difference by continuously seeking and implementing solutions to the many problems and threats our oceans are facing today. Our ambition is to raise a maximum of funds for tangible projects through our 100% volunteer based work. Our current main focus is on preparing and promoting our 2017 Charity Cycle Ride from Zurich to Monaco. For this, and advancing our movement in general, we can count on a growing team of dedicated and skilled volunteers. Switzerland for the Oceans started out as a movement in early 2017 and has now been formally converted into a “Verein” operating under Swiss law.
