The food is decent even if there is little choice. What is not great is the service. We asked the waitress three times for a glass of wine but it never arrived. It's quite unfortunate because it would have some potential otherwise

Went twice in a week - staff were excellent, welcoming and very efficient. Love the sauce, get the big portion! Wines by the glass selection is solid and reasonably priced

This review concerns only the cheapest item on the Wine & Beef menu: the 24 Classic Burger (or 22 Swiss francs in local currency). I've already had the steaks there, and they're OK but nothing special. But my 'Classic Hamburger' was truly a disappointment, and would have been expensive at half the price. Basically, it's a rather small beef pattie on an extra-large sesame bun, drenched in a sweetish yellowish sauce, with some melted cheese, tomato slices, lettuce, and a strip of bacon. I asked for a medium, rather than rare, burger. But mine was pretty rare. The bun looked good, but it was cold, and so soggy that the bottom half started to disintegrate. The strip of bacon was also soggy, and it was a surprise not mentioned on the menu. So beware if you avoid pork. I've been a burger fan since childhood, have eaten them everywhere, and frequently make very good ones at home. This one was really not worth eating. I left most of the bun and much of the sauce. The french fries were good, though. A small portion served in a fancy-looking cup. The service was pleasant, but not very efficient. Took 10 minutes to bring us some ketchup for the fries. And and other 10 minutes for a second cup of expresso (quite good). Sorry to be negative, but this item really should not be on the restaurant's menu. If you go there, stick with the steaks.
