It has been an ages since this restaurant exists. The food has been always delicious. Portions are generous. Service is very professional, although the place is always full. There is nothing you may not like there. We’ve returned again there today. This time we took le museau de bœuf for the entry and as a main dish la langue de bœuf with purée. Something indescribable. Delicious. My husband had as an entry Le Potage de Topinambour and as a main dish Dès quenelles de brochet ( the fish) and it was as well delicious. The service as usual very attentive, professional and friendly. If you want, it is mini Lipp with smaller card and less crowded. p.s. Again we went back to the Socrat last night. Always crowded, but nice. The real atmosphere of French brasserie. The food has nothing to be commented. Simply delicious. The service as always impeccable. Thank you and see you soon. p.s. What to add, recently we have been there twice; both times with different people, both times people were happily rolling out of place :) Extraordinary French brasserie with a great service! We love you, guys and we'll be back after our diet :)
Great food, really great! Every table was filled on a Thursday night. Friendly service, but the two servers were a bit overwhelmed by the number of people, so service was very slow. Still, the food was amazing and well worth waiting for. Highly recommended!!
A great little restaurant serving dishes specific to the Lyon cuisine. Tasty, fast and very good service! A definite thumbs up!
