I initially loved Ciro’s and returned multiple times since it opened, and particularly liked the fresh pasta dishes, which were unique to Geneva’s italian restaurant scene. Unfortunately the quality of these dishes have gone down substantially and my past few visits have been disappointing. I returned time and time again with high hopes, however on my last visit the pasta was very undercooked (not al dente- I could still taste and see the flour inside) and the sauces were clumpy, unrefined and a little foul tasting. Will not be back soon.

The truth is that people make the place. And when it is also such wonderful people who work in this restaurant - even more so. Feeling like you're being received by an old good friend you haven't seen in a long time. Very nice and cozy place.
