Caring doctor, attentive staff - only high recommendations
I cannot recommend Dr. Abou Zeid more highly. I was put in touch with her via another doctor who was recommended her on the basis of her professionalism and her credentials. Having seen many ophthalmologists over the past few years, I can happily say that she and her staff were the best that I have seen. I have a very serious eye condition and the diagnostic tests were extremely thorough and went into more depth than any other doctor I have visited. She explained her diagnosis and treatment plan very clearly and answered every single question I had. I contacted her later in the day with a few more questions and she responded very quickly and in detail. I feel that I am in the best possible hands with her and her staff.
Dr. Abou Zeid is a fantastic specialist. She's practical, very caring and extremely knowledgeable. You really could not ask for a better ophthalmologist. The only thing I regret is not having met her before. In 1986 I had RK (radial keratotomy) performed in both eyes. Things were pretty good for many years but then the problems started: my vision fluctuated and became worse. My cornea became very irregular and plane. I had big problems to see with glasses or with contact lenses. Then I have developed cataracts. Last year I started treating with Dr. Abou Zeid and she brought hope and again “vision” to my life. She performed cataracts surgery over a week ago on my left eye and the success is 100%. She was very careful and relentless in making the correct calculation of the lens for my case. I couldn’t be more satisfied! Now I see well far and can read with my own left eye without any glasses. I have absolute confidence in Dr. Abou Zeid and highly recommend her and her nice team (Maria and Jessica), they gave me the best service from the beginning to the end. Dr. Abou Zeid is professional, attentive and warm. I went to see her due to an emergency eye injury. She diagnosed the problem, prescribed antibiotics and I began to see improvements the very next day.
