Friendly welcome. Appears to be a lot of long term pitches where people live and then a smaĺler area for travelling campers. We were only there for one night en-route to Calais. But the facilities of shower/toilets were great. A train line running along on a hill along side of the camp. We wanted to leave early but were unable to drive out until 7am when the electric gate was raised.
Very rude owner. He was pleasant enough when he was taking my money but when we came to leave he said he was too busy to switch the router on and off next to him so we could get directions from Google to the airport. And got no sleep because it is next to a busy train track which runs frieght trains twenty four hours. All the toilets were blocked and the whole camp smelt of sewage. Would not let my dog stay there
Do not go there with a tent. The tent area is a small spot of grass right between playground and entrance/restaurant. It was very loud and busy. There were a couple of more comfortable spots available, but the person in charge did not allow us to use them for our tent as there \might\ be more campers coming. Also, there was just one person serving a restaurant with 20 customers and trying to organise campers at the same time. We had to wait quite a while before being shown the spot. We did not stay there. Might be okay for campers.
To start off, the woman behind the front desk is extremely rude. She was intolerant of children and not family friendly. We ended up leaving immediately.
