We had a good time playing Mandarin Madness. Game was in English. Unlimited hints without alert sound unfortunately. No timer but knocks on the door. Two electronic mini lanterns were provided. Some objects were difficult to discover and comprehend if without game moderator’s help. No toilet on the venue. Overall I’d still recommend it.

Definitely not worth the price. We played already many escape rooms and we did not enjoy Mandarin Madness. No timer in the room neither clock to keep the time, no background music. No light, which could be fine, but no electric torches are provided so you are asked to use your phone to play (and of course you could also use your phone calculator). First quizzes to solve have not even logical answer, and also once the solution was provided we couldn't figure out how we should have reached that. Game was interrupted by the game master coming into the room and finding some objects for us. Positive things are that we could play in English and you have an infinite number of hints or inputs provided on a screen (which unfortunately plays no alert sound when a clue is available) when the game master feels you need it.
Great escape room, challenging but very fun, I recommend the mandarin madness
