One of the best restaurants in Basel, the owner is very welcoming and the food is tasty, flavorful, spicy and finger licking good. They also sell buffet which allows you to try as many meal options as you’d like.

The interior is not that special. My partner and I had a vegetarian menu with several dishes, of which the quantity was filling enough. The falafel pieces and hummus were nice, but the rest weren't that tasty unfortunately. I would not recommend eating here for a lovely lunch or dinner. Maybe takeout?
The restaurant seems to be under renovation, poorly lit, somewhat messy. Food was below average and not cheap. Me and my girlfriend had discomfort in our stomachs the evening and day after. The toilet has a broken seat and was covered in yellow spots. There are much tastier and more hygenic alternatives.

Great place for anyone who likes middle Eastern cuisine. We ordered veggie meal for two which was 45 CHF, quite reasonable for Basel. There were lots of delicacies included and portion were generous. Food was delicious. They don't have English menu but the staff was kind enough to suggest us in English. Location is central, though not the best and the ambience is also okay. Overall for the price a great place to eat something different.

Good food and nice big room in the back with beautiful middle Eastern decor. Very refreshing taboulé recipe, moist falafel balls.
