Very pleasant experience and very good reception. You feel like at home in the suites and it's ideal for cocooning. Superb SPA, the restaurant is at the gastronomic level with exceptional desserts and good wine choice.
Nice hotel with a friendly staff. Rooms are sometimes a bit funny as you have to go through the bathroom to get to the room. But the rest is great. The furniture is nice, the view is breathtaking, the pool is great. The hotel is ideally located in Crans, close to the telecabins.

Definitely a nice, modern hotel well located to the télécabine with pleasant service and a great view. However, for a 5-star hotel it misses the mark in a few basic areas: 1) The spa (pool, hammam, sauna) facility is minimal, not luxurious, 2) The breakfast is what you would find at a 4-star hotel; 5-star basics like omelettes or pancakes are add-on extras (and are themselves just your average-quality dishes), and 3) a part of the 3rd floor has the distinct aroma of raw sewage (yes. They tried to cover it up with air freshener but to no avail). If they fix these things, or if they don't bother you, then this would be a 5-star rating.
Not worth a 5* hotel.
What's not to like in Hotel Crans Ambassador. The room are really clean and neat and it's design is really beautiful. Both views are great (forest or mountain) the staff are super friendly all of them and I really salute them. Don't miss their breakfast and enjoy the experience. You have to book very early to get the best rooms.
