My husband had a dinner with friends there and said it was exceptional. Service, food, location, wine everything is sophisticated at this place. Even a Christmas dessert which we have ordered there is delicious. Yes! Expensive, but worthy. We’ve had a lunch today at Lion D’or. Everything is classy at this restaurant. Excellent service, exceptionally delicious food, presentation and the breathtaking view!
Beautiful view of Lake Geneva the Great ambience and food presentation and taste was so amazing that the executive chef is Irish and one of the country's he worked in is Kuwait in the intercontinental hotel an amazing personality made the place more special to me and my wife the story's where amazing to hear and his amazing food was 10 stars our hats are off for chef Tommy a night to remember.

Auberge du Lion d’Or is not only about a gastronomic adventure on your palette, it is also a journey into a pleasant supper with an all around experience to be remembered. Remember that Maestro Thomas Byrne is not only a chef but also a very hospitable and generous housekeeper who will make sure that you leave the doors of the gastronomic restaurant or the bistro with a smile on your face. Although the Gastronomic Restaurant may be the primetime show, never forget that the Bistro has nothing lower than perfectionism served on each and every plate coming out from the very same kitchen thus both are surely to be tried at least once!
Fantastic customer service (as you would expect). I imagine the views would be amazing at lunch time but we were there for dinner. It's possible to find good value wine on the menu if you look for them.
