A very nice grotto, typical food. We had polenta with mushrooms and meat, perfect! Very friendly service. I recommend

Wonderful, atmospheric restaurant that used to be one of Hesse's favourite haunts. The personnel was kind and cheerful -- the food served promptly. Varied menu that ranges from fresh game to vegan dishes. A cute little detail -- they have one of those tiny book exchange \libraries\. Plenty of parking space for those driving to the place.

Good food & service. Reasonable price. Only 1 thing, the restuarant is located in the forest so prepare to hit mosquito. Anyway, it’s not a big problem. Enjoy the nature and good food. Please keep your hospitality and quality of the food. I’m sure that many customers will come back again, including us. Thx u.

Svizzera Grotto tippico! Best Food! Cool place on a hot summer day! Perfect for lunch! Wine to drink out of a typical tazza ticinese! A must have! Amazing!

Great place for family gatherings, offering lots of domestically sourced wine, cheese, and meats. Service was responsive and helpful, and the ambience is perfect for relaxing get togethers and events with the family. Make sure to call ahead and make a reservation as they tend to get very busy. They have a good selection of Polenta and grilled meat all year round, but the prices are not very forgiving. I detracted one star because of several small annoyances: - the bench were we sat was wet with some kind of cleaning product, and stained our clothes. - during the Summer, it is ruthlessly full of mosquitoes, and the tiny citronella candles did nothing to deter them. - while the service was responsive, they messed up two of our orders, giving us and charging us for something we did not order, and getting my mother sick for a couple of days. All in all it remains a good grotto with all of the things that you should expect from it, mosquitoes included.
