I went to Codename to get the battery in my Macbook Air replaced. I needed no appointment to go in and order the battery. Service is efficient but sometimes in the late afternoons a line can build up and you have to wait a while for service. I can recommend this shop for Mac repairs and part replacements.

One stop shop for your Apple repair needs. An authorised Apple repair centre - conveniently located, just off Bahnofstrasse and diagonally opposite Jelmoli. Good service all in all. Very friendly and helpful staff / service agents. However, this place can get a bit crowded, especially on Saturdays. So, wait-times may be longer than anticipated.

My new MacBook Pro 2020 (4 TB ports) had a randomly a huge lag, the mouse and the touch bar were slow to respond and also opening folders and doing simple tasks were a suffer to my MacBook, I had also a blue and green Apple logo after reinstalling the macOS from 0, I went to the Apple Store to ask for help, they referred me to Codename since they had no free appointments to give for that day. On Codename the staff was so kind to me, understood all my issues with the Mac, and replied every single answer that I asked. Took me about 1 week, when they called me to say that the *diagnostic* did not found any issues and they had cleaned something on my MacBook, I don't have any clue of what was that ..., at that moment I thought that the MacBook still had the same problems, when I returned home I tested the MacBook and do still have randomly lag problems and the blue and green Apple logo, I can't understand the part of doing *only* a few diagnostics instead of trying out the MacBook for a couple of hours since the Mac lasted on Codename for 5 days. Time and money for train tickets lost, never again. I already sent again to Interdiscount for the 2nd time, hope that now they don't use the diagnostic again, and give to me a repaired MacBook, because that history been going on since March 2020.

My MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017) did not turn on, charge or give any life sign. Apple was not apple to attend me directly in time, hence they referred me to Codename AG. While the response time was impeccable and I was attend politely, the suggestions I received turned out to be wrong and by no means in the clients favor. Since my MacBook did not response to the charger and went completely dark, I was told the only option is a new motherboard/processor unit and it would set me back about 900 CHF including the installation and I wold loose all my data on the device. Since the amount almost justified buying a new one, I wanted to get a second opinion. Once I returned back home from my visit of Zurich, I contacted my technician of trust and not only did he repaid the MacBook for less tan 300, my original motherboard/process are working fine and my data was saved. Not only did they try to sell me something I did not need, they would have accepted that I loose all my information doing so. This is not only unprofessional, its a sad practice and despite the polite service, I cannot suggest them. Be careful!

We have worked together for quite some time and from fixing displays on imacs to migrating to ssd-drives I have never been let down! Prices are fair and support is better than the other shops we used in the past.
