This is a typical Italian restaurant with good quality Italian food served in very large portions. The staff speak good English and as an Australian traveler I had no trouble making myself understood. This of course was greatly assisted by the fact that they have both French and it's English menus. As the wines were unfamiliar to me I found the waiters recommendation more than satisfactory.

Here's the deal with Restaurant Boccalino - it's got REALLY GOOD PIZZA!!! It is the only pizza I've had in Geneva but I have got to believe it is one of the best in the city. Nicely sized, well topped, and cooked with a bit of a wood oven flavor profile... seriously it's just fantastic. Delicious fresh ingredients and a crispy thin crust that holds up well. Also MUCH LARGER than I expected. The patio is large and beautiful. It's in a great part of the city. Excellent WINE as you'd expect. GO GO GO

This restaurant had the best pizza I have ever had in my life. It was garlic cheese. I can't seem to find it on their menu. Does anyone know if they still offer it? It was 6 years ago...
Great food and excellent customer service. Prices are not that high. Highly recommended for a casual dinner.
