their price absolutely deserved a 5 star. By far the cheapest, an Alamo car, great, brand new. B U T ......when downgrading from a preselected MB to a VW , the price difference was noted and adjusted on the rental contract . However, that didn't make it to their billing department and I was charged the full amount . Sadly, Car Hire Labs won't send you a final bill either, so I ended up going through a somewhat lengthy process of adjusting through the credit card company.

I sent in a insurance claim 5 months ago after paying full insurance. They have since blocked my phone number and refuse to answer any of my emails asking for a status update. My strong recommendation is to avoid this company. Ed Harrison
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS . I HIRED A VEHICLE FROM THESE LAST YEAR AND PAID FOR FULL PROTECTION INSURANCE. I HAD A MINOR CLAIM AND NOW AFTER 9 MONTHS I STILL HAVE NOT HAD MY CLAIM REIMBURSED YET I AM TOTALLY OUT OF POCKET FOR THE EXTIORTIONATE CAR REPAIRS. THEY CONSTANTLY TELL ME IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT BUT IT IS THEY I HAVE PAID. . THEY DO NOT ANSWER EMAILS , BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BASICALLY THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. IF YOU DECIDE TO PART WITH YOUR MONEY WITH THIS BUNCH THEN GOOD LUCK IF YOU EVER HAVE ANY ISSUE.
Our flight was late, when we arrived we couldn't find the store or the employee so we called at the phone number wrote on our vouchers. They explain us their store was located few km from the airport, and they came to pickup us in time but as we were late they left and they will not come back for us. We had to rent an other car from another company. It's a very very bad experience with care hire labs. The others companies told us it was not the first time they do that. I will pursue them until they give me back my money! Airport Porto Portugal
No customer service on weekend. Not so funny to stay 2000 miles away on Sunday and just blinking what to do when they messed up your booking. I would advise everyone to use a well known rental firm and dont fall into the cheap mistake I made it.
Avoid this Company if you are a young driver under 25. I read the terms carefully and there was standing that if I enter my age that the young driver fee will be Displayed. So I booked my car and had to pay on the top 25 per day young driver fee again. They also took something about 20 as a prepaid for the car rental. Never saw that money again and at the car rental they said that there is nothing prepaid. So car hire labs tooked the money in their own pocket. Never AGAIN!!
Avoid like a plague! My booking has been cancelled just 22 hours before the trip! Just got an email about it. If I had missed the email or were already on the flight I would have been expecting the car when I arrive. I can imagine many people may just be in this situation and fall victim to their incompetence. I was lucky in this regard. On top of it the email says "Please be aware that the full refunding process may take up to 20 days." !!! DO NOT USE THEM!
Avoid like the plague. Total scam. They sent us a voucher to hire a car at Alamo at Tijuana airport... we arrived to find that Alamo stopped operating there a year ago. We had to organise a new hire at a much higher price from another company.
