Very nice view. Complete hike (4 hours from Mendrisio) is advised to 100% enjoy the arrival at the restaurant.

The new restaurant building designed by Mario Botta is very pretty, the food is very good in the self-service restaurant, with a large salad bar, pasta option, and various meat options including beef filet.

The new RESTAURANT is nice but the view in the Selfservice Restaurant is limited which is another proof that even Star-Architects often fail to construct a nice building with good usability. The top Restaurant has a very nice view but was closed for a private event. The Selfservice Restaurant only opens at 11:30. The top roof terrace was closed for no reason! ...there is room for improvement!

Camminata e vista stupenda ma la ferrovia é chiusa fino a 2017. Beautiful walk and breathtaking view, but the train and all the infrastructure are closed for renovation until 2017! The walk down to Mendrisio or Maroggia is almost 3 hours.
