This place is very cozy and I love a lot its natural design, a lot of wood, Lokal definitely has the style! Also I was amazed by the food, my lunch was perfect! I was expecting just mashed potatoes and chicken, but the sauce, spices and some magic made it delicious! Highly recommend this place for lunch or a drink! Hope to try breakfasts as well :)

We went to this place hoping for a nice local meal. It took forever to serve the tapas and for such a little quantity you pay almost 20 CHF per portion! We ended up paying 160 and were still hungry when we left! The quality I would agree is good but tasteless and not worth the price! I would give 4 star for cocktail though and nice friendly staff

I've visited the Lokal twice and both occasions were amazing. The first time with colleagues and we tried their \Degustatiosmenü\. It was delicious experience (they did a special vegan alternative menu for me) and a lovely evening. The second time was on a short lunch break during their weekly thematic take away (Hawaii week June 2020). I tried Vegi Poke Bowl with Tofu Musubi (deep ried tofu wrap in rice and seaweed). It was delicious, but a bit pricey (19.-). The service was fast, nice and helpful.

This is a great place to eat. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who likes to experience new tastes for every dish you get and loves genius food combinations. The meals are served Tapas-style and you basically have to share them with your friends, so everyone can try out all dishes. You can also get good drinks here. Tip: Try their homemade Ingwerer.

Excellent food, kind staff and very nice location. The only downside are the prices. It's quite expensive for the amount of food you get.

A gem amongst the restaurants in Biel. The personnel is super friendly and relaxed. Tables inside are in a cozy environment and outside is just by the river. Ideal for an exciting dinner date. The tapas they serve here are very creative and made with local products.
