4 of us joined Juan for an excellent afternoon navigating the beautiful vineyards of Alsace on e-bikes. Having the chance to taste multiple styles ("natural" compared with more traditional approaches) from the same vineyard, while in that vineyard was a great learning. We had a couple of producer visits that were great and helped personalize the region. Juan is a solid wine educator, happy to share his preferences and things he is excited about while encouraging us to explore our own preferences. I am very confident to recommend the Wine Guru on Wheels for a memorable day in the vines, and any other wine-related events!

I highly recommend contacting Juan for your next wine experience! He tailored 3 really entertaining sessions for us to learn more about tasting and choosing wine. He taught us very clear and recognized methods with fun flipcharts that are accessible for every level to grow in their understanding of wine. His practical advice were a step-change for a novice like myself who couldn't choose wine on my own, and now feel confident in what to look for, how to know what to expect from a wine from its label and how to make my assessment upon tasting. We had a fantastic time together with Juan and Stefy, discovering the secrets of pairing Swiss wine and Swiss-made chocolate. We discovered some new places, which we even went back to straight after the tour (they were fantastic). It doesn't matter how long you have been living in Basel or if you are a visitor, you will clearly learn some fun facts, history, and learn to appreciate even more both wine and chocolate.
