I stayed at the Schützenmatt Apartments for 1 month and would recommend anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Basel for a short or long time to consider staying here. The team (special mention to Claudia) was fantasic and was always available and quick to respond to any queries or requests that I had. As this was the first place I stayed in Switzerland after moving here from overseas, it felt like a home away from home. My apartment was cleaned daily and I always had fresh towels and supplies provided which was fantastic. The location of the apartments is fantastic, with easy connections to the center of Basel (10 minute walk), Basel SBB (10 minutes on the tram) and the EuroAirport (25 minutes by bus). I would highly recommend these apartments and again, a huge thank you to Claudia and the team for everything.

Well maintained service apartments and my son stayed here for a long period of time. Cleaning is done everyday here; the owner and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They provide you with extra amenities if needed and give you sweet gifts on special occasions like Christmas, New year etc. Located near bus stop and tram stop.
Nice place, good central location, very convenient distance from the airport. Management (Claudia) is very helpful and made my 3 months stay very comfortable. I highly recommend the place.
I stayed here at this apartment for more than 3 years and all I can say is that I had a great stay. Claudia and her staff are very nice and helpful at all times. I have moved to a bigger apartment now as my family has joined me but still I would rate Schutzenmattstrasse 42 as a great place.
Good location and daily cleaning service but No dishwasher, poor broadband connection. disconnected automatically then have to reconnect manually again. poor mobile phone coverage. not able to make a call in the apartment. have to get out of the building to make a phone call or receive a phone call. radiators is noisy. the noise is as loud as raining
A home away from home! Claudia has been really kind and supportive when I asked her for a quickly available flat. The building is centrally located in the best area of Basel and offers all the comforts you need. The daily housekeeping is simply perfect and both Claudia and Madame Zivkovic are always happy to help their guests even during the weekend. I won't forget for sure the treatment received, as well from a personal perspective and I would suggest the Schützenmatt Apartments to everyone either for a short or a long stay! In a scale from 0 to 10, my mark would be 10. Thanks really for everything.
I've been working in Basel for the last 4 months and was lucky enough to have the Schützenmatt Apartments as my home during this time. The apartments are everything you would need in Basel. Clean, comfortable, and the location is excellent. The best part was Claudia's organisation with all of this. She was flexible when it came to arrival/departure and she was extremely helpful throughout my stay. All in all a very pleasant time in Basel and would definitely stay again if I return (which I hope to do so soon!)
