Great experience! A little hard to find, it's inside a much larger building, if you see a dance class through a large window, you are in the right place. Then climb up the stairs to the second floor. You feel like you're in an old elementary school, until you get into the dining room, then it's beautiful! Food was great, friendly staff, reasonable prices (for Basel!).

A satisfying place for a meal out, always have great food here and it doesn't cost too much money. Loved how speedily the service was, will be coming again. Great location, lots of menu options, everyone was really happy with the food. Great choices for a special occasion, plenty of options on the menu and everything tasted of the greatest level of quality. Very pleasant personnel, hadn't been here before but would come back again.
Lofty factory charm. Excellent vegan and meat cuisine. Very friendly and professional staff. We had a great time! For non-stair-climbers, there is an old elevator which takes you up to the 2nd floor. Wheel-chair accessible.
I visit Basel at least once a month and I now frequent Cantina Don Camillo at least once when I visit. The welcome I get from Bruno and his team is excellent even when he is very busy. I would always recommend a reservation in the evening because it is popular. I usually travel to Basel alone and dine alone, and they cater for me very well. The menu itself is both meat and plant based. Being vegan myself I always find something worth eating and am never disappointed. All of their drinks are vegan as well so there is never any worry from my side. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and am always recommended it to my work colleagues. Thank you to Bruno and your staff. You really are great hosts and have a wonderful restaurant.
Great spot in the heart of the renovated Warteck brewery, industrial revolution meets 'urban industrial' the menu is great and has vegan as well as meat options. Prices are Swiss - but the food didn't disappoint - I have the veggie burger which was just delicious. The beer (Warteck of course ) went down well. The whole vibe of the place is uber cool but accessible - with a real mix of people. there was a thunder storm and we were sitting outside - but the sail like covers were deployed to keep everyone dry. Recommended.

Lovely place, great athmosphere, surprising location. Food was excellent, staff super friendly. Will visit again for sure!
