No matter how much goods they store on thier shelfs, a Big Store like this will always be measured by the Experience witch the Customer had with thier Empoyees... some of them just running arround and dont know what to do the whole Day, on wednesday i saw one throwing Bubblewrap packs out of a Cardboardbox on the ground / on the Floor, because ha was to lazy to move the Box to the specific Storage location, and empty the box there... that was just an poor example of an ungrateful Employee i guess, another one had a so strong BO that i was just short before a faint. I really wonder what their Job description look like, their behavior is just so sad to look at, despite the fact that the most of them dont have much knowledge about thier departments wich they are assigned to. The store itself has a very good selection of all kind of Power tools, Handtools, lots of stuff for all kind of Construction needs, they got special clothes, and so much other stuff, just look at my pictures that ive made...my resume would be the Store itself has a very good Selection, but the Employees,...they need a lot of Training when it comes to Department knowledge, and behavior against customer. The customer pays the Bill...wich pays thier Salary. About thier Selling Prices, well there is really not much difference between Bauhaus, Do-it, or any other Big Chain here in Swiss.

This Craftmans Store is far better as the BAUHAUS in Schlieren, why ? well the Employes are more helpfull, and if they dont know something they will call somebody who does, of course it is as always depends on your manners to, but my overall experience with the Bauhaus Employes is that most of them do not care at all, they just wait till the afternoon, when thier Shift is over, thats pretty sad, but as allways dont expect to much from People wich are poorly paid :) In my experience are the Employes from the Jumbo Store better Trained as the others, or maybe the just care more, who knows... The Jumbo Store is not bigger as the Bauhaus, but i guess it is better in case of the variety of goods, the Mayor Brands are allways the same, everywhere, there can not be any difference. As summary for me it is worth the extra Mile, even if i had ta ad another 30 minutes to go there. So my advice would be...Godbye Bauhaus...Hello Jumbo :)
Great choice but usually very crowded

One stop shop
Horrible web shop experience. Never again.
Bought a shower set. When I came home and try to install it I realized it had been opened already and the shower bar had been clearly swapped with the one belonging to a different model. Lost 1.5 hours. When I asked for a \compensation\ for the time I wasted, the only answer I got was from an unfriendly shop assistant was \it's not my fault\... Never ever again.
