Pedro has many years of experience playing guitar and he is well-known in Switzerland as a teacher and performer. He is very focused on imparting basic, practical knowledge that can provide a foundation for further learning of music. I specifically took lessons with Pedro in order to augment Flamenco dance lessons taken at a local school in Basel. I wanted more exposure to music technique, and received exactly that. For the beginner or serious-minded guitar student, I would highly recommend him.

Excellent guitar teacher - I could already play classical guitar and wanted to learn 'some' Flamenco. Pedro was the perfect choice as teacher, making learning enjoyable and progress inevitable. I also bought a Camps guitar from Arte Flamenco - made in Spain, and the tone, playability, ad looks are as good as guitars at twice the price.
I'd always wanted to learn flamenco guitar techniques and a friend put me on to Pedro about 6 years ago. Really great teacher, loads of patience and flexible around lesson times. Pedro teaches using notation and tablature, so you don't need to know how to read music to progress. Plus if you have a smartphone, you can film Pedro playing the piece you're learning so you have something to refer back to later. The Camps guitars are great instruments too.
En clase con Pedro aprendes flamenco a la vez que pasas un buen rato. Se nota que lo entiende y que lo siente y así es más fácil aprender. Sus conciertos también son de admirar, con dos buenas guitarras y un cajón incluso mejor. Si quieres aprender el arte del flamenco y no sólo a leer partituras este es tu sitio. Yo no tengo una guitarra Camps pero la uso en las clases y el sonido es realmente bueno
Las clases de guitarra con Pedro son muy educativas y amenas. Le pone mucha ilusión y se esmera en que l@s alumn@s progresen. Tiene una paciencia de santo. No hay mejor maestro de guitarra en el área de Basilea.
Pedro ist ein idealer Lehrer! Humorvoll aber auch hartnäckig. Er geht auf seine Schüler ein und bringt sie zum Lachen. Auch auf der Bühne sprüht er vor Energie und vermittelt Freude an der Musik!
Bei Pedro bekommt man nicht nur richtig guten Unterricht geboten, sondern auch eine gute Zeit mit einer tollen Person! Was ich besonders zu schätzen gewusst habe, sind die flexiblen Unterrichtszeiten! Ich bin meistens alle 2 Wochen ein mal gegangen, aber wenn es zeitlich mal schwierig war, war es auch kein Problem nur ein mal im Monat eine Lektion zu geniessen!
Toller Gitarrenunterricht bei Pedro, der mich jedes Mal tiefer in die Welt des Flamenco erfahren lässt. Die Camps-Gitarren haben, abgesehen vom einmaligen fairen Preis, ein wunderbares Klangbild. Kann ich jedem empfehlen.
